Edcamp DVIS 2015 – it’s a Wrap!

Posted on Updated on

edcamp2015bThank you to all who attended our very first edcamp DVIS — we had a great turnout! We had an awesome day filled with learning, growing, and meeting new people, and we hope you did, too! Thank you so much to our wonderful partners at UPenn for hosting our event (shout out to Melissa DiFrancesco of Penn’s Center of East Asian Studies!) We also want to give a HUGE thank you to our sponsor, Edu-Tech Academic Solutions, for fueling our day with coffee, breakfast and lunch!

If you weren’t able to make it, or couldn’t attend a particular session that interested you, don’t forget to use our Session Board as a resource. Collaborative session notes in Google Docs are linked in the schedule. Many thanks to Brian Fahey of West Chester Friends School for helping to get our session board online!

Stay connected with the awesome edcampers on Twitter. Search for hashtag #edcampDVIS to find out what others were saying about the day. Props to Matthew Murray of The Philadelphia School for tweeting for @edcampDVIS throughout the day!  (Storify summary to come soon, so stay tuned!) Several of you have already posted your reflections on your blogs, too:

Lastly, the edcamp DVIS organizing team would like to get your feedback about the event. Please take a few minutes to take this quick survey so we can make edcamp DVIS even better next time! Thank you SO very much!
